La Sonoisterosalpingografia è un esame innovativo e non invasivo che sostituisce l’isterosalpinografia per diagnosticare se le tube sono pervie e consentono così il passaggio dello sperma. La pervietà tubarica è, infatti, una delle cause dell’infertilità femminile.

L’esame viene eseguito presso il nostro ambulatorio di ginecologia con tecnica di imaging tridimensionale ad ultrasuoni (Doppler). Si tratta di iniettare all’interno dell’utero una miscela di aria e acqua fisiologica e di seguirne il percorso con una ecografia transvaginale.

Quando e come fare l’esame

Nello specifico viene posizionato in utero un piccolo catetere e iniettata la miscela di aria e acqua fisiologica, il cui percorso fino alle tube viene monitorato tramite ecografia. L’esame si esegue tra il 7° e il 14° giorno del ciclo mestruale, dura pochi minuti e non necessità di alcun tipo di anestesia. Alla fine della diagnosi la paziente potrà rialzarsi e fare tranquillamente qualsiasi attività.
